We partner with local governments, businesses, and individuals, providing the support they need to bring clean water and sanitation systems to their own communities. Then we ensure they have the resources they need to maintain those systems now and in the future. The local government provides the structure. The local shop owner provides the materials. The local entrepreneur makes repairs. And the local family gets clean water for a lifetime.

With over thirty years of experience in nine countries around the world, we have seen how water changes everything. Access to water fuels health, hope, education, optimism, and prosperity. It boosts opportunities for everyone, especially women and girls. Children stay in school longer. Fewer people die of illnesses caused by contaminated water. Increased education and improved health bring economic prosperity to entire regions. Families have more time to work, play, and simply spend together.
Everyone Forever creates a better life for people around the world – people like Didacienne in Rulindo District, Rwanda.
Didacienne had five children and no home of her own. Her husband died decades ago in the Rwandan genocide, and after that she had few options to provide for her family. They lived with various family members to get by, and without water in their village, life was difficult.
Everything changed when Water For People partnered with Didacienne’s district to build a new water point in her village. She no longer gets sick from waterborne diseases or spends hours each day fetching water. And when she was offered a job as the local water seller, the income from working at the water point allowed her to finally build a home for her family. Access to water has changed her life – forever.
Around the world, women and girls spend hours every day walking for water. Right now, our generous partners are matching your donation so that your support can go even further. Let’s make it one last time that a woman has to walk for water.
Every dollar you give to Water For People multiplies. Our strategic partners such as communities, local governments, and local businesses also invest. In addition, the health and economic benefits of investing in clean water provide a seven-fold return, helping your $50 investment multiply to over $500!
While all currencies are accepted, your donation will be processed in US dollars.
