ICHTHYOSAURUS

Ruler of the Ancient Oceans

Dive into a world where style meets prehistory. Our store was born out of fascination with one of the most impressive marine reptiles of the Mesozoic era – the ichthyosaurus. As fast as a torpedo, as fierce as a shark, and shaped like a modern-day dolphin. We believe its unique silhouette and legacy deserve a modern revival – through bold designs on t-shirts, shoes and accessories.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT ICHTHYOSAURUS

This creature has fascinated not only paleontologists, but also artists and explorers - the first specimens were found back in the early 19th century in the famous cliffs of Lyme Regis in England by Mary Anning, a pioneering paleontologist.

Ichthyosaurus (Latin: Ichthyosaurus communis) is one of the best-known representatives of ichthyosaurs - extinct marine reptiles that dominated the oceans of the Mesozoic era. Although its name means “fish lizard,” it was neither a fish nor a dinosaur. It is a completely separate evolutionary lineage that adapted to life in the water in an extremely impressive way.
