Our story began back in 2023, in Ukraine, in the city of Vinnytsia. I’ve always dreamed of creating something of my own — something real. In April 2023, that dream finally became reality. I took an old hoodie and printed a design on it. Nothing special at first glance. Still, I felt there was more. So I invited a friend to build something together. He found production, I worked on the design — and that’s how our first t-shirt, Corrosive Memories, was born. (You can find photos of all our early pieces in the gallery.) We didn’t expect anyone to buy it. On April 28, with our very last money, we produced just three t-shirts and posted them on our Instagram — an account with barely 100 followers. Thirty minutes later, they were all sold out. People asked for more. They asked for new designs. And suddenly, KODOKU started to grow. Step by step, we reached over 2,000 followers. More than 70 reviews stood behind us. The brand was alive and moving forward. Later in 2023, we moved to Poland. Sales kept growing. But at the beginning of 2024, everything changed. The market was flooded with similar brands — copying designs from Pinterest, reselling each other’s ideas, raising prices without meaning. The passion slowly faded. Popularity dropped. Advertising costs grew, orders became fewer. My friend and I drifted apart. And quietly, KODOKU began to disappear. On April 19, 2024, I decided to close the brand. But people didn’t let it end there. Messages started appearing in our Telegram channel, asking us to come back. I gathered my strength and returned — with new pieces and better quality. Still, history repeated itself. In September 2025, KODOKU was closed again. This time, I thought — forever. But here we are. At the beginning of 2026, I decided to bring everything back. The ideas. The meaning. The honesty. That’s why you’re on this page right now. You can order our previous pieces, and very soon, new releases will follow.
